Does Hany IPTV Player provide channels, films or subscriptions?

No. Hany IPTV Player is only a media player. It hosts no channels, films, series or streams of its own; it plays the compatible IPTV service you lawfully obtained from an independent provider.

What kind of connection does it support?

It supports Xtream Codes compatible services: you connect with the server address, username and password from your provider. The catalogue (live TV, movies, series and the programme guide) is fetched and organized automatically.

Do I need to open an account to use the app?

Accepted Answer

No. The entire app works without an account with us. Signing in with Apple or Google is entirely optional, and its only purpose is syncing your profiles, favourites and watch progress between your own devices.

Where are my IPTV username and password stored?

Accepted Answer

On your device, in the operating system's secure store (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain); they are never written to logs and never sent to us. If you enable the optional cloud sync, the credentials of the profiles you sync are stored on our server encrypted with AES-256-GCM — details in the privacy policy.

Can I pause and rewind live TV?

Yes. You can pause live TV, rewind, and jump back to the live edge with one tap. The buffer is kept on your device; how far you can rewind depends on your provider's stream.

Can I download movies and episodes to watch offline?

Accepted Answer

Yes, where your provider permits it. Downloads are saved to private storage other apps cannot read and play without a connection. The free version has a daily download limit; Premium removes it. Live TV recording is not supported.

What does Premium change?

Accepted Answer

Premium removes all ads and the daily download limit. It is offered monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase; payment is processed by Google Play or the App Store. Premium is not an IPTV subscription — it grants no access to any channels or streams.

Question 8

How do I delete my cloud account and synced data?

Accepted Answer

From inside the app: Settings → Cloud Accounts → My devices → "Delete my cloud data". For your security you are asked to re-authenticate with your linked provider (Apple or Google); your account and all synced data are then erased from the server. The profiles, favourites and downloads on your device stay.
